fred, there’s something the kids are calling TMI.  It stands for TOO MUCH INFORMATION.

I love how the camera cut from thompson after he made this strange comment and panned directly to mccain’s confused (and unhappy I assume) looking mother.  Did fred realize the rnc was not rated TV MA?  I can hear it all over the country in the 50-100 living rooms that for some reason had this boring ass convention on the TV – “Momma, what’s an exotic dancer?”

Like the laura bush posting from earlier tonight, I am not making this up and will definitely try to find a video of thompson’s awkward comment tomorrow.

It’s a shame this wrinkly piece of shiat is so hell bent on protecting Israel while bombing the piss out of the Middle East.  Outside of this anomaly, I’m not sure what lieberman has in common with mccain except the senior discount at Denny’s. 

AWKWARD rnc moment!

Why is the gop and mccain camp purposely excluding Obama’s 8 years as a state legislator as political experience?

This is a “karl rove” move if I’ve ever seen one and shamefully I think most Americans are stupid enough to believe that palin and Obama have somewhere around the same amount of experience.

It’s not like Obama’s political experience includes merely being part of the PTA (palin), the mayor of a village with less than 8,000 people (palin), and/or 2 years governing a corrupt/worthless state while knee deep in scandals (palin).

Political experience aside, palin and Obama are on two different playing fields.  For example, he articulately outlines his vision of America in “Audacity of Hope.”  She asks a church to pray for a pipeline.  Assuming mccain dies from old age well within 4 years, who do you think is fit to be the next president?

Don’t worry – you probably won’t have to answer that as I assume she won’t be on the ticket in a few days.

In my younger years, I hoped relentlessly that my parents would win the lottery. Outside of the obvious of being straight up filthy rich, why did I hope they won the lottery? Specifically, I wanted my own arcade room, maybe a four wheeler or two, and some really expensive cars. Yeah, at 15/16 years old I was pretty shallow like every other teenager.

Post desiring a bunch of video games and expensive things that go fast, I hoped that I would fall into some huge sum of cash so that I could buy property and travel. Slightly more sophisticated but still materialistic.

As of recently, my only hope is that I somehow get the chance to ask sarah palin the following:

1) How thoroughly did the mccain camp vet you?

2) Why would you accept the vp offer if your daughter was 5 months pregnant? Not that her being pregnant at 17 is a problem in my book – but, does the whole world need to know about it? Is that really fair to your daughter?

3) You just had a baby with a disability, why are you even considering becoming the next president of the United States? Yes, sarah, I said president since mccain’s age/deteriorating state of health means he definitely isn’t living out the next 4 years.

4) Per the rumor that you recently applied for your first passport when visiting Iraq, have you seriously never traveled outside of North America? This is an unfounded rumor, correct?

5) Why are Alaskan politics so shady/weird? Also…

6) In your own words, can you describe TrooperGate? Can you describe what it means to be for – but then adamantly against – “The Bridge to Nowhere” once you were selected as vp? Lastly, how about all those earmarks for podunk Wasilla, Alaska?

7) Will you make it long enough on the ticket to give your speech Wednesday?

8 ) What and the hell were you thinking – if you’re actually the mother of trig – during your most recent labor? I should clarify a few of this weekend’s postings due to some pretty intense emails…

While Obama is a tool for “forcefully” stating that families are off limits, I have no beef with bristol palin officially getting knocked up. I have no beef with bristol’s apparent shotgun wedding at age 17. I also have no beef with todd palin’s dwi. Lastly, I have no beef with sarah palin possibly covering up her daughter’s first child.

But, I do have a beef with mccain choosing sarah palin without vetting her appropriately especially knowing of her involvement in TrooperGate.

Seriously, this is mccain’s first shot at making a sound decision (unlike the bush administration over the last 8 years) and he FAILED as bad as anyone could imagine. In fact, bush couldn’t have even failed this horribly.

Bottom line, mccain could not have made a worse mistake in choosing palin. No, there is ABSOLUTELY NO WAY he knew bristol was pregnant before selecting sarah as his running mate. Choosing her is absolutely a ridiculous decision considering he had the more sane options of tom ridge or tim pawlenty available. I am not backing off my previous assertion that the gop wants to lose this election for some reason.

PSSSST – sarah and john, “abstinence only” sex education doesn’t work. It’s unfortunate you had to learn first hand the hard way publicly during a political campaign. Ouch.

Sweetheart, there isn’t ANYTHING imaginable on your two phones  that could be more important than your baby’s head hitting the ground.  Also, who the fck has two phones anymore?  I think the last person I saw with 2 phones – one for work and one for play – was seriously like 5 years ago.  Is Alaska that far behind?  No, right?

As scripted, palin made a cute comment recently that she always has a blackberry in one hand and a breast pump in the other.  Seriously?

My a.d.h.d. and I love multi-tasking, putting in long hours, and working from everywhere thanks to technology.  But, palin, get a grip – your meaningless/politically corrupt state and/or you are not THAT important.

Although everyone knows offshore drilling is meaningless/worthless in regards to decreasing our dependence on foreign oil, Hurricane Gustav could show how environmentally/hurricane safe offshore drilling is as it makes landfall.  Hopefully, the MSM picks up on any applicable oil spills like they DIDN’T for Katrina and Rita.

Oh yeah, even though gulf production is nothing more than a SMALL drop in the bucket, oil futures could definitely trade higher on Tuesday but should return to normal/actual prices in a week or so. The price as of Monday morning on the global markets is all the way down to $110 a barrel as originally seen on BccList.com here.

Is the gop still having their convention this week? Hahahahahahh!

Update 1: Gustav has passed but the oil rigs are now in a new hurricane’s wheelhouse – hurricane Ike.  Fortunately, there aren’t as many oil platforms on the Texas/Gulf of Mexico border and this is where Ike is supposed to it.  Unless the fed decides to stupidly cut the interest rate next Tuesday, oil should continue to trade lower.

Update 2: Three (3) oil rigs are missing after hurricane Ike.  Offshore drilling in the gulf seems safe.

Update 3: The above posting is from September 2008.  Unfortunately, in April 2010, we had a major oil spill in the gulf of Mexico.  Shiat!

Update 4: There’s a new CNN poll out on May 5th that state Americans think offshore drilling should continue. Are you fcking kidding me?

Even after reading the above iReport piece – there’s a lot there that supports the rumor – I would like to assume sarah palin covering up for bristol palin’s pregnancy is totally untrue and a completely insane rumor. But, I’m somewhat confused assuming the above photo from an Anchorage Daily News story is truly from when palin was supposed to be 7 months pregnant.

Shouldn’t this rumor – and palin’s other scandal – have been disclosed during the vetting process? Oh, that’s right, there was no real vetting process for her. Ouch…
