Classic late 90s hip hop…

Imma huge Kanye West fan. Love the new album – My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Just wish he’d forget that Taylor Swift exists…
http://www.ourlittlechatterboxes.com/2010/11/tsa-sexual-assault.html
After the above link was posted on facebook, my initial reaction was to wonder – “Wow, how could this happen? There has to be more to the story, right? If not, lawsuit time!”
Why? The new enhanced pat downs only occur if you are selected for a 2nd screening and refuse to go through a full body scanner. If airports are without full body scanners, you aren’t subject to enhanced pat downs.
So, I did a little digging around…
a) this is currently the first and only blog posting on the domain: ourlittlechatterboxes.com. So, the blog exists to supposedly highlight a mother’s journey through speech and developmental delay but the first and only blog posting is about TSA Sexual Assault. I don’t get it.
b) the blogger – going by the name Erin Chase – is more than willing to go on-air and she set-up a specific TSA sexual assault related inbox. I am begging Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, or Sean Hannity bring her on their show without doing their due diligence!
***UPDATE #3: If you are interested in me sharing my story on your radio or news program, please email tsasexualassault (at) gmail.
c) whenever there’s a comment questioning Erin’s legitimacy, a responder mentions that she’s a real person and plugs her cookbook. Genius but shameful marketing?
Early snap judgment: In my opinion, the TSA sexual assault blog posting by Erin Chase is a hoax. A hoax to get people (even more) up in arms with the government. It reminds me of the McVeigh days when some thought the government inserted those small metal bands in our money to track us. Or, that street signs could convert into signs the government entities could use to communicate messages when they were taking us over. Or, that the government could shut off all of our car ignitions if they wanted to.
Question: Where were these hoaxes when republicans were passing the patriot act?
Update 1: The blogger removed her original update #3 where she all but begged to go on-air. See the original Update #3 above. It’s been replaced with…
**UPDATE #3: I have removed all the previous content from the blog, and my other personal blogs, to protect my family and friends
The replacement – rather than simply adding a new update about how all other blog postings have been removed – isn’t weird at all. Hmmm. Also, why isn’t she open to interviews anymore?
Update 2: Disturbing…
Difference between OurLittleChatterboxes? No self/blog/cookbook promotion. Regardless, I’ll do my damnest to track these TSA investigations. Infatuated…
Update 3: Unrelated to the illegitimacy/legitimacy of the Our Little Chaterboxes postings, is my opinion that an easy TSA fix is to give 3 options to passengers selected for a 2nd screening: body scan, pat down, or don’t fly. But, nobody should be forced into sobbing as seen here: http://j.mp/92Ohp0
This normally wouldn’t be a BccList.com blog posting, but, Ok Magazine’s servers are down and I wanted to send a tweet regarding the photo below.
Seems like there’s some major drama going down in San Antonio…

Blogging soley because of boredom has become itself boring – hence, my posting frequency has tanked significantly. But, blogging as a means of therapy – I know, that sounds overdrammatic – is awesome. Here’s one of the most therapeutic posts I’ve ever written.

This posting will end up being equally as therapeutic.
The below rant is my part of a text message conversation recently had with a friend (Democrat) who was upset about the midterm election results…
Dems will definitely be ok (nationwide) in 2-6 years. Economic and general direction of country is a mirror image of 94. But Clinton lost both chambers then.
[her response]
Clinton took crap in 1993/1994 for the stimulus needed after bush 1. bush 2 had 2x his father’s time to ruin our country. That said, a much bigger stimulus was used now but I predict an economic boom larger than Clinton’s. Assuming Obama runs and wins again.
[her response]
Dems got all the “controversial” stuff passed. Now they put their feet up for 2 years and watch the effectiveness of their plans work out.
[her response]
Legislatively this current congress should get a ton done between now and January since senators like Blanche Lincoln (rightfully) lost and they don’t have to worry about saving their job by voting more conservative. We’ll see though.
[her response regarding the ass kicking dems took in Michigan]
The last thing MI needs is to become more conservative by cutting spending on well founded projects. The state is already drastically behind the times as it is. What’s next – No new computers…you get a typewriter instead?
Adding a long overdue open letter to Rick Snyder…
You earned my vote – congrats. No, seriously – that’s saying a lot. I can’t stand republicans and rarely vote for them. However, Virg was a horrible candidate and Michigan’s democrats have had absolutely NO VISION – especially from 2000-2006/7.
But, you won’t earn my vote again in 2014 if you infuse your ridiculous social/moral opinions into the governor’s office. Nobody acting in the best interest of Michigan wants to hear about your insane position against stem cell research. Nobody acting in the best interest of Michigan wants to hear that you stupidly think marriage is only meant to be between a man and a woman. Nobody acting in the best interest of Michigan wants to hear your idiotic position that our government has a say over a woman’s womb.
The only thing people acting in the best interest of Michigan care about are JOBS. That’s it. JOBS.
Best of Luck,
3 years ago today, I…
– was fighting off a really weird flesh eating bacteria that was going around Chicagoland. True story, gross – I know.
– was horribly hungover because a buddy (Aaron) failed to make sure I got home at reasonable hour after the rehearsal dinner. We stumbled in around 5:30 am I was told. Ok, I’m obviously to blame but my wife SPECIFICALLY left him in charge and I don’t remember much after 3:00 am. Ha!
– while running 30-60 minutes late for my wedding, dropped a case of beer bottles in the grocery store parking lot which exploded all over the place and somehow sent chards of glass into my Crocs. Dont judge – Amongst others, Matt Damon was wearing them back then. Ha! Note: I still wear Crocs. Some things never go out of style, right? 😛
– in haste, clipped my ear on the car door and drew blood after dealing with the aforementioned beer.
and…
– was told by my best man an hour or two before the pictures that his tux was stolen by a bum on the Metra train after he fell asleep. I gave him plenty of fair warning to stop with the prank if he was kidding. He didn’t and was joking.
Needless to say, the last 3 years have gone much smoother. Love you, Mar – happy anniversary!
P.S. Conor, I’m not whoring out my blog. Stop getting all pissy…

Unless Korie is tweeting some friends and family members of course. Not too legal if the athlete is receiving the item only because they play a NCAA sport. I’m not sure I’d know who Korie was without the powers of MSU Basketball.

BREAKING (9/29 at 3:45 pm EDT): Nancy Pelosi has just announced that neither the House or Senate will vote for Obama’s tax cuts for the middle class before the midterms.
_____________________________________________________________________
Stick with me here. This is my first wordy blog posting in a long, long, long time.
5 days ago I emailed a buddy predicting that the republicans will spin the Democrats delay in voting on tax cuts for the middle class until after the midterms by saying…
“The Dems are afraid to vote for Obama’s tax increase before the midterms.”
Well, 5 minutes ago, I saw john boehner say – “It’s a true shame Democrats won’t take a vote on ANY tax cuts until after the midterms.” That’s basically the same thing I predicted 5 days ago (but boehner could have been even more effective by saying what I mentioned).
Regardless, boehner’s recent comment was said at a presser. Like, a big presser. The sound bite will be made into a commercial/Fox News talking point and looped over and over and over again between now and November 2nd. I hate that the Democratic Party leadership has absolutely NO vision as to what the republicans will spin/sell.
That said…

Dear Tim Kaine, Barack Obama, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, Robert Gibbs, Bill Burton, Rahm Emanuel, David Axelrod, etc, etc, etc…
If you want to do well in November and beyond, you need to start growing some proverbial balls!
For one of many examples, the House is ready to vote and pass Obama’s middle class tax cuts. As you know, a vote is getting held up in the Senate because Harry Reid doesn’t have 60 votes – enough to pass a bill. This is a true shame. But, I don’t care if Harry Reid has 60 votes. That doesn’t matter to a single American. Again, to reiterate, we don’t care if Harry Reid has 60 votes. That’s not the reason we voted you into office.
Let there be a vote. If only 59 Democrats in the Senate vote for Obama’s middle class tax cut while letting bush’s costly tax cuts for the rich expire and there are no republican votes, you can then gladly take your stockpiles of cash and advertise the heck out of the fact republicans are against tax cuts for the middle class. Meaning, you need to start owning the message. If republicans can do anything well, it’s spin and own the message. For example, the republicans are going to run ad after ad after ad between now and November 2 saying something to the effect of: The Dems were afraid to vote for Obama’s tax increase before the midterms.
On that note of owning the message, the Democratic Party will do very well in the midterms by doing only one thing between now and November 2nd. Yes, you only need to do one thing. Starting today, take that stockpile of cash and advertise that not a single republican voted yesterday to offer incentives for US based companies that bring outsourced jobs back to the US. If you don’t want to dumb the messaging down – as you’re so “good”/horrible at doing – you can even say more US jobs equals more US tax revenue equals a stronger US economy. But, don’t get caught up in the messaging…start a campaign calling out the republicans on their no vote for the Creating American Jobs and Ending Offshoring Act.
IT’S NOT THAT HARD!
In summation, the Dems have been afraid of not having 60 votes since the healthcare debate. Instead of passing a glorified patient’s bill of rights, the Democrats should have at least tried to pass a real healthcare reform via the public option (or single payer). Can’t get 60 votes, Harry Reid? Great! Advertise exactly what a public option (or single payer) is and then mention how NO republicans would vote for it. After those ads run, you could have then cut your backroom deals and get 3 republicans senators to cross over in order to pass health care reformish.
UPDATE (as I’m typing this posting at 1 pm EDT on 9/29): boehner just effectively called out the Dems on the House floor. I don’t really care what boehner says or thinks politically. I do care that whatever he says will shamefully end up being what 52% of Americans think in a few weeks and right before the midterm vote.
Most people asked to return to the parking lot have forgotten to turn off their lights but that’s likely not the reason for MAR K Z’s page…
