While I had no clue, I’m not running for president…

“During an interview in Miami earlier this week with Spanish-language station Union Radio, a reporter asked McCain whether, if elected, he would receive Zapatero in the White House. McCain answered, “Honestly, I have to analyze our relationships, situations, and priorities, but I can assure you that I will establish closer relationships with our friends, and I will stand up to those who want to harm the United States.”
Ouch. The question about Zapatero, clearly framed by the reporter as a question about Spain, came after inquiries on Venezuela, Bolivia, and Cuba. As a result, much of the Spanish press has decided that the Republican candidate, who hails himself as the experienced foreign policy choice in this election, confused Spain – a NATO member and key ally in the fight against terrorism – with one of those troublesome Latin American states. That was certainly the interviewer’s impression, for she followed up with a gentle reminder that Spain was a country in Europe.”
Well, I mean if we’re just going to start pointing out all kinds of flaws…where’s your coverage of Biden making an a$$ of himself the past few weeks?? I’m just saying since you’re all for equality and change and blah blah. I’d like to see some posts about how he told a man in a wheelchair to “stand up.”
Also, how about how Obama’s camp is going to start a new line of “faith merchandise”…wtf?!
I think not knowing who a world leader is more important than a public speaking gaffe.
As for the faith merchandise, I can assure you Jesus is a Democrat having only one lame issue (abortion) with the party. Don’t be fooled!

Lets bring up the fact that Biden says its a “patriotic act” to accept and pay higher taxes….or how Obama has been cheerleading the economic downfall and has offered zero solutions
Ms Doan, are you really trying to compare Biden forgetting someone is in a wheel chair, which has nothing to do with the job he will need to do should he be elected to McCain not knowing who the President of Spain is, or where Spain is located (latin america, right?), or that Iraq and Pakistan share a border, or that Czechoslovakia still exists, which has everything to do with the job he will need to do should he be elected? Really… I mean really?
Illini 3 – Fox News is lying to you…Obama isn’t cheerleading the economic downfall. This letter to bernanke and paulson is from over a year ago.

You can read more about his economic plan on his website.
Lastly, regarding increased taxes, there’s nothing to be complaining about unless you’re making more than $250,000 a year.

Randy, being president is not a 4 year stint on Jeopardy…I think McCain will be just fine…
Really…I mean really…get some reasoning skills, put the crayons down, and think before you speak…. Really, I mean really…
I’ll let Randy speak for himself. But, I’m pretty sure knowing world leaders and basic geography are pretty much presidential requirements. Even bush knows (or has somehow learned) the basics. On that note, could you imagine being dubya’s tutor. Oh my god – worst job ever.
Randy, no I’m not comparing. I’m just saying equal coverage of all candidates… But since you bring it up, aren’t all of the Liberals judging Palin based on her parenting (or lack-there-of) skills which, as you say, will have “nothing to do with the do with the job she will need to do should she be elected”…
Ms. Doan,
Some “liberals” would argue that if she can’t run a family, she can’t run the country. Yes, within the next 4 years, mccain will be dead of old age and she could potentially (though impossible since their ticket is screwed) be thrown into the role of president.
Regardless, I think more “liberals” are concerned that she’s crazier than bat shit, likes to lie about seemingly everything, loves the cover-ups, has no clue politically, and is the laughingstock of this election season.
If mccain says or does anything intelligent, I’ll make sure to post a link on the blog. Don’t hold your breath…
Ryan – “No Longer Mass Emailing” pretty much summed it up, thanks. And I have reasoning skills, which is why I was able to reason that McCain not knowing who the President of Spain is – let alone where Spain is on a map – means he doesn’t quite have the grasp on foreign policy he claims to have.
Really. I wrote this in colored pencil, is that better? If not, let me know, I also have markers. Not much of an artist, but could try water colors if you prefer.
Ms Doan – No, I don’t believe all liberals are judging Palin’s family. The only people reporting on Palin’s family are the “rags” (i.e. The National Enquirer). I wouldn’t say they’re liberals, just trying sell papers/magazines. And I agree, her parenting skills have nothing to do with her ability to run a gov’t and should not be discussed although it is interesting/entertaining.
Posted from my McCain invented Blackberry.
