I agree with you on this one…I think he could provide a connection with the blue collar voters that would help Obama.
That and Obama/Schweitzer may literally steal 3 electoral votes from a shoe in red state if they could carry it. Every electoral votes counts towards 270.
Perhaps…the real strength is in his ‘relatability’, not so much for Montana’s electoral votes, of which might not swing in that case; odds are they would, but there again he had a very narrow victory in his election, and I would think that the NRA has a pretty good following in Montana. All that being said, you’re probably right, but it would be close, even though he is the governor.
