Puzzled that Frontline (PBS) calls the Obama residence “on the edge of Harlem.” We lived for a year at 342 East 100th Street. It is clear that E.94th Street is in Yorkville. The “magic line” is 96th Street (cross-town) and north (Metro-North from 96th to 106th Street East of Central Park toward the River on the east.
Well then you lived in East Harlem, too. Yorkville ends where York Avenue ends which is on 92nd street.
